Our
staff have worked on GIS projects Worldwide. These have included
all aspects of a GIS project life cycle, from the initial
planning, database design, data conversion, application development,
implementation and training.
We
are experience with all the major GIS packages including MapInfo,
Arcview, ArcIMS and ArcInfo.
Mosscliff
has also been developing web based GIS system, generating
the graphics directly from the database on demand. This combined
with our work on mobile devices allows Mosscliff to create
spatial data management system that can be accessed and maintained
from anywhere.
We
believe that the success of a project is based on understanding
the data needs of our clients. We ensuring we put systems
in place that support our clients needs, now and in the future.
Mobile GIS is a growing technology. More and more choices
are becoming available for field spatial data collection.
Mobile GIS is the expansion of a geographic information system
(GIS) from the office into the field. A mobile GIS enables
field based personnel to capture, store, update, manipulate,
analyse, and display geographic information.
Mosscliff believe that the use
of pen based computers and PDAs, mobile GIS applications can
empower organisation's field workers with map information
that was previously only available on the desktop. Additionally,
specifically customised GIS applications can streamline and
standardise data capture for field mapping and global positioning
system data collection, which can be used for natural resource
surveys, asset inventories and many other natural resource
and commercial applications
